Bunny with a heartsign

Hello it's me, Monica, again!
I like all Sans images a lot but the bunnies have a special place in my heart -they're soooo cute <3
This one has a heart sign and I made him a Cute as a Button sign as well!!

My obsession for bunnies has a reason. When the children were small we had a pet rabbit with long, floppy ears called Evert. He was more of a dog kind of rabbit actually: loved to lie at my feet in the sofa when I watched TV at night <3

Which type of images are your favourite, the ones you feel you can't be without even though you have a couple of them? Please leave a note and tell, it would be so fun to know!! <3

The little fellow is called Bunny Looking for Love and who can resist him?! The Button Sentiments is so useful for all kind of cards: birthdays, babies and just to make someone happy.

Bye for now, and enjoy the sunny Spring!

Birthday Wishes Card

Hello everyone.  I hope this Wednesday morning finds all of you well.

Today I'm showcasing a birthday card I created using two of San's awesome goodies.  One of the laces...

and one of the sentiments from the English birthday set...
SN00162--Birthday Set, English
Here is the card I came up with...

If you'd like to see the inside or learn about any of the details for this card, you can head over to my blog Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  I'd love for you to come and visit.

Have a great week everyone!

Chocolate bar boxes

Things are slowly getting back to normal here... The wierdests things are when I sort of run into something that used to belong to my mother, but now suddenly is in our place! And I'm seriously getting tired of all of the clutter!!! There's so much STUFF EVERYWHERE! But we have nowhere else to put it all either, so... I seriously doubt that I would miss half of it once it's gone, but it's a bit hard to let go all the same, so we end up with... well... clutter!

Do you remember those little chocolate bar boxes I made a while back? I have a few more of those to show you all... :)

They all look similar, but there are a few things that differ... I have used a couple of different frames, The Flower Label and the Wonky frame, the two different chocolate sentiments are from the same set and I used one of the dragonflies from the newly released Winged things set.

These little boxes measure about 4x8", which makes them perfect for 8x8"papers. :)

Ok, I'm off to try and clear at least some clutter away before hubby gets home... :) It was nice to see you all again!

By the way, just curious, what is it that makes you visit a certain blog over and over? Tell me!

Freebie vintage image

Hello everyone!
Some of you might have noticed that I haven't been around for a while. The reason for that is that my mother passed away three weeks ago, and I had to go to the westcoast to say goodbye. She had been seriously ill for over a year, having strokes and epileptic seisures, which resulted in vascular dementia. The last seisure rendered her unconsious for the last two weeks. So it wasn't a shock and I was able to spend a few days at the hospital with her before she died. It's been both very hard and a relief to live so far away from her this last year. Hard because I couldn't just stop by on my way home from work to see her, and a relief hat I wasn't the one that had to do all the heavy stuff, like finding her cramping in the appartment when she had the first stroke.
I just got back home a couple of days ago. So as you can understand, it has not been a couple of leisurely weeks, with planning the funeral and trying to get the appartment emptied and all...

A huge thank you to the designteam that has been stepping up and taken over the blog, so that it still had a lot to show you during these weeks!

I have something different to share with you all today. Next sunday it's Mother's day in Sweden, and I thought I'd honor my mother in sharing this image with you as a vintage image. It's a photo of my grandmother and mother and it was taken in early summer 1949.

Wasn't my mother the cutest toddler? I love that sceptical look on her face! :) Honestly, wouldn't this be great for Mother's day projects? Feel free to download it (the normal terms of use applies to this image as well, and please don't pin it to Pinterest or the likes, but send people over here instead) and please, please, please let me know if you like it and use it!

A Sweet Treat

Hey all!  It is Lisa here today.

I just love San's Summertime Cupcake digi so much that I wanted to share with you all one of my older cards featuring this sweet image.

Here is the front of my card...

With a closer look at that yummy cupcake...

Couldn't you just eat it up?

I had thought about doing a different, more elaborate layout, but in the end I decided that I simply wanted San's images to be the centre pieces of the design so I used a die-cut image that would compliment her yummy cupcake image and fussy cut a coordinating shape for the sentiment.   I love the versatility of this image.  It might be a summertime cupcake but it can be used for so many occasions--thank yous, birthdays, thinking of you cards and more. I particularly love the interesting shape to this image and all the intricacies of the design.

You can purchase San's summertime cupcake image in her online store HERE. The image was coloured in using Copic Markers: Leaf: G20, YG61, YG63, YG67. Stem: E31, E33, E39. Cherry: R20, R22, R24, R29. Whipped cream: C1, C3. Cake area & chocolate chips: E21, E23, E25. Wrapper & icing: B32, B34, B39.

For the inside of my card, I used another of San's images...

The sentiment I used is part of a group of love themed sentiments.  Lucky for you it is still available as a freebie.  Just click on the watermark below and it will bring you to the post where it is available.

I scanned in the antique white paper (Michael's open stock scrapbook paper) that I used for the die-cut along with the dark blue and tan dotted background paper (K & C Company, The Best of K & C paper pad--primarily floral designs) and uploaded both images along with the sentiment into Photoshop Essentials so that I could fill in the little heart above the word 'sweet' with the antique white colour and change the text colour to match the dark blue to the paper I used.

Hope you like my latest design!  See you again soon!

ATC from Crafting Vicky

Hello everyone!  It's my turn to show a wonderful digi from San's design.  And this time I'm doing it with a different medium than usual!  I'm showing you some little ATCs that I did with a precolored digi.  I just love using pre-colored digis for my ATC because I do a swap and that means creating 9 of the same...

Plus it's really hard to color such tiny images.... at least I find...

So for my ATC I used a digi from this set here.

The theme of my swap this month was pink.  So I used the wonderful little girl troll.

Here's the lot of them
I didn't do much to this ATCs... if you want to see the details of what I used please check it out here.

Here's a closer look at one ATC
I hope you have liked my little ATC!!!!  Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!
